International Pedicure Association
The International Pedicure Association was developed for the modern pedicurist worldwide, to help meet their needs and concerns regarding pedicures. Through a support network along with the highest levels of education in the industry safe, high quality pedicures can be achieved. To help elevate and differentiate pedicurists who want to go beyond their basic education, various advanced education suppliers are constantly being updated by the International Pedicure Association. The Certified Master Pedicure (CMP) up to Bachelor of Science in Podology (BSc. Pod) courses are currently being taught by the North American School of Pedicuring.
Membership Benefits of the International Pedicure Association:
- An e-newsletter is distributed to members, keeping you current with the most updated information in the industry. Input, through your questions and comments, will help with development of the newsletter to add a more personal touch.
- There is a message board, where pedicurists can communicate with each other on a daily basis.
- Ask the Doctor / Advisory Board section allows you to e-mail questions to a board certified podiatrist/medical doctor or industry experts depending on your question. You can even send in digital pictures of conditions that you may have questions on. An exact diagnosis cannot be made, but an opinion will be given as to what the condition might be, and how to procede. If the condition appears to need medical attention, the association can help you with contacting a podiatrist in your area, if so desired. This can be a way for the pedicurist to establish a mutual working relationship with podiatrists, if they havent done so previously.
- You are able to access a section on the website, that will show a gallery of foot conditions. This gives you an opportunity to visually recognize many of the conditions you might encounter on a daily basis.
- We are continually working with businesses and insurance companies within the industry in developing a discounted product program.
