What you can expect when you join the International Pedicure Association:
- Access to the member only section - will be given access to secure member only site of our website. This section of the website includes:
- Salon Safety – guidelines including sanitation and sterilization procedures of equipment, health and safety of the pedicurist, best practices, access to numerous client and salon forms.
- Common Salon violations – which serves as a reminder for you observe.
- Educational Opportunities and information – includes our newsletters, details on our webinars, external courses (which offer discounts to IPA members).
- Gallery of Foot conditions – a catalogue of conditions observed by pedicurists and podiatrists (with educational text alongside each image).
- Questions and Answers – post your questions or review the questions submitted by other members.
- Message Board – this allows you to discuss an issue or topic with your peers.
- Interesting Articles – view the most relevant editorials on our website. We do the research so you don’t have to!
- New sections of the website will be added throughout the course of the year. New sections include:
i. Case Studies – submit interesting stories of the clients you have serviced.
ii. Top Tips – topics will include items such as how to provide your services to diabetics, the elderly, men, cancer patients, etc.
iii. On Line Store – where you can order and pay online and receive a discount for pedicuring products.
2. A Welcome Pack will be posted to you. This will include a Decal which you may wish to proudly display in your salon, mobile salon or portfolio folder.
- Monthly member webinars – participate in a monthly educational and/or business webinar. The majority of our webinars are free of charge to members. We do however provide a few webinars which are provided by an external source and as such they may attract a small fee for attending. The International Pedicure Association will always seek to offer competitive or discounted prices for our members.
- Monthly Newsletters – will be posted on our website. They may contain educational information, business opportunities and partnerships as well as marketing of new products and services, competitions and giveaways.
- Business Listing - will be available for your peers and consumers.
Types of Members
The International Pedicure Association is proud to provide two types of membership.
Standard Membership - is available to all licensed pedicurists, regardless of the length of time you have been in the business. This membership costs $150 in year one. The annual renewal fee is $100.
Corporate Members - relate to businesses that provide services, equipment or education to the individual members of the International Pedicure Association. The price for corporate membership is available on request. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
